Yaquta Fatehi is a Program Manager at The William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan. She works with both the private sector and the development sector to identify and improve socio-economic impacts of their low-income stakeholders. Combining social and business/operations metrics, she works with organizations to co-develop unique insights to solve key business/program challenges while communicating impact evidence. She also conducts research to find innovative monitoring and evaluation approaches such as developmental evaluation, outcome harvesting etc. to provide performance data to organizations to adapt to changing complex environments. With a decade of development experience, she has worked in varied sectors: economic development, agritech, agriculture value chains, clean cookstoves, food security, healthcare, micro-distribution, nutrition, microfinance, and WASH; and in different functional roles: consulting, research, program management, and operations. She has worked on projects in Brazil, Cambodia, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru.
