Molly Chen is an international development professional specialized in monitoring, evaluation, research, learning and adapting (MERLA) at RTI International. She leads the overall strategy, design, and implementation of MERLA for RTI International’s Global Health Division’s technical portfolio in HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Neglected Tropical Diseases, and Health Systems Strengthening (HSS). Ms. Chen previously supported the Mobile Solutions Technical Assistance and Research (mSTAR) project and the USAID Global Development Lab’s Digital Development Team’s M&E strategy while at FHI 360. Ms. Chen served as a Peace Corps Volunteer working on health and economic development issues in Suriname, South America. Her country experience includes Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, Tanzania, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Guinea, Zambia, Uganda, and Suriname. Molly holds a master’s degree in international development with a concentration in evaluation from the School of International Service at American University and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of California, Los Angeles
