Jonathan McKay is the Director of 'Create' at Girl Effect — a new team that brings together writers, designers, software developers and strategists to create brands, products and experiences that girls love. With a background in digital marketing including building mobile campaigns and platforms for Diageo, Unilever, Volkswagen and Vodafone, amongst others; Jonathan has spent more than fifteen years exploring the potential of digital technologies to reach, engage and empower marginalised populations in Africa and Asia. More recently, he has worked with organisations like Save the Children, Brac, UNICEF, UNFPA, Facebook and the Ford Foundation to launch digital experiences in more than 40 countries.
