Anupam Anand has more than 12 years of combined experience in international development, academia, and teaching. He implements innovative multidisciplinary approaches to development evaluation. At the IEO, he has led evaluations on biodiversity, Illegal Wildlife trade, and land degradation. Before GEF, he was a Remote Sensing Scientist at the Global Land Cover Facility (GLCF), University of Maryland, where he worked on multiple NASA-funded projects including field campaigns for NASA's future satellite missions. He is currently leading an evaluation on Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Mainstreaming.
